Common reasons for not receiving account activation email

If you signed up for a Landbot account but didn't receive an account activation email, check out the following reasons and learn how to resolve them:

Email went to spam folder

Your inbox might have some aggressive spam filters that block the email.

How to resolve: Please check your spam folder.

If you do see it, please help us mark the email as "not spam" (It'll prevent the same issue from happening to others. Thank you! πŸ™‡β€β™‚οΈ)

Email went to update, promotion, social, or other folders

Many email clients (like Gmail) automatically sort emails into different folders, but they don't always get it right.

How to resolve: Please check your other folders.

If you do see it, please help us mark the email as "important" (It'll prevent the same issue from happening to others. Thank you! πŸ™‡β€β™‚οΈ)

Your inbox hasn't refreshed / slight delivery delay

The email usually gets delivered in seconds, but it can sometimes take a minute or two due to technical reasons. It's also possible that the email has already arrived at your inbox, but your email client hasn't refreshed to show it to you.

How to resolve: Give it a minute and refresh your inbox. If you still don't see it, go back to the Landbot app and click "Resend email".

Email blocked by corporate firewall

Your company might have a firewall setting that blocks certain emails for security reason.

How to resolve: Talk to your IT team or email administrator and ask them to whitelist emails coming from landbot.io domain

Typo in email address

We all make mistakes. It's possible that you made a typo when entering your email πŸ™ˆ

How to resolve: Check the email address that we sent the email to. If it's not correct, simply sign up for another account.
