What's Salesforce?

Salesforce is a customer relationship management software and application focused on sales, customer service, marketing automation, analytics, and application development

With our native integration you can seamlessly create and update leads within the bot flow.

Add Account

You can either connect your Salesforce account directly in the builder, or in the integrations section

The following steps will demonstrate how you can connect your account in the builder

  1. Add the Salesforce block to your flow

  1. Sync your Salesforce Account by logging in

Create Record

  1. Select event

From the event drop-down you can choose between creating a new account, contact, lead, or opportunity

  1. Add data by selecting from the variables drop-down

Keep in mind that if you don't set all the Required fields, no data will be sent.
  1. Test the request

Update Record

Finally, we'll select an existing record and update it with new values

  1. The first thing we'll do to update a record is select how we want to identify the record

We can chose between Contains, Equals, or Does not contain

In this case, we'll select 'Equal to', then we'll add the name of the account, we can add this as a variable, or as a fixed value

  1. Now that we have selected out record to update, we'll add the value we want to update by

Error Log

In case we encounter an error, we can go directly to the Salesforce error log in our integrations section

Here we can find useful information on what might have happened, such as 'Required Field Missing'
