The Send Message blockΒ allowsΒ you to send text to your visitors with just a couple of clicks. Sending messages is the most basic and fundamental part of creating a chatbot! π€
Add a Send a Message Block to you flow π¬
To create a simple message, simply drag and drop the green dot and select Send a Message:

Click on your newly created Send a Message block to open the block configuration which will show on the left side of the builder:
Here you can add an additional message that will display in a separate message bubble in the bot π¬...
With the Add Media button you can media like images, videos, files or GIFs. Just click on the Pencil Icon to open the pop-up βοΈ ...
You can also format your text and add emojis π·...
Add HTML code to the block by switching the message view to HTML mode π» ...
And add Hyperlinks to you text π !
Add Field π¦
You can display data you have previously collected in your bot with the Add Field button. For example, if you ask for your user's name in the bot and save it in the Field @Name, you can then display the name that the user entered by selecting the Field from the List.
Troubleshooting and Limitations
Starting a Web Bot with a Send a Message Block
It is not possible to start a Web Bot with a Send a message block β Web Bots always need a user input to start the flow π‘
Send a Message Block & the Back Button
The Back Button cannot display when a Send a Message block is active in your flow β The Back Button can ony display with blocks that require some user input π©π½βπ»
Hyperlinks in WhatsApp Bots
It is not possible to create Hyperlinks in WhatsApp Bots β
Linking Send a Message Blocks in WhatsApp Bots
We do not recommend linking multiple Send a Message blocks together in WhatsApp Bots β This can cause your flow to break βοΈβπ₯
