We've been working on improvements based on your feedback and are excited to introduce our new AI agent! This updated model offers better control, improved accuracy, and enhanced functionality to make your experience more efficient and reliable.

Key Features of the New AI Agent:

Smarter & More Responsive

The new AI follows clear and concise instructions, giving you greater control over how it responds. You can guide its behavior more precisely.

You can add Base instructions containing Name, Role, Welcome message, as well as an improved Instructions section that lets you define a Role, Constraints and Steps with examples:

You can also try out our new Prompt Generator, that will guide you through questions and crate the best prompt for your case!

Save User Answers:

Keep your entries saved in fields to reuse them in the future.

You can save contact information, such as name, email, company, and phone number. Or you can save customized information, for any other type of information you want to save.

Exit scenario:

Define conditions for ending the conversation - exit the assistant. You can save a phrase or word that once your users write it, the assistant will end the conversation and exit.

You can also set Next Steps after the exit scenario, like selecting a new bot to send your users to:

Enhanced Knowledge Base (KB) Support

Now, you can upload files to the AI’s Knowledge Base. The uploaded content replaces previous text from your instructions, so if you need the AI to rely only on the KB, make sure to specify it in your instructions:

More Accurate Responses

While the AI can process detailed instructions, short and direct guidelines work best to minimize incorrect or irrelevant responses. If information needs to be corrected, you can provide updated details while actively denying incorrect ones.

Adaptive Language Support

The AI automatically responds in the user's language unless a specific language restriction is set—even if the KB is in another language!

How to Try It Out

  • The new AI agent is available for new accounts created from March 4th 2025 onwards. You can find it under Build your bot or your dashboard:
  • If you’d like to test it with your current account, reach out to us at help@landbot.io and we’ll enable it for you.
  • If you experience issues with the previous AI, you can create a new account and try the updated model.

- How can I connect with a Human Takeover block?

This is possible by linking a Web bot that contains a Human Takeover block in the flow, to your Exit Scenario.
